1. Understand your products

Imagine what happen when you are a seller, customers ask you some questions about your products and you say "I don't know?" You do not know so how can customer know about those products to decide to buy them? Understanding and being self-confident with your products will make you answer customers' wonders more easily. As a result, you can gain more trust from them. Only when customers trust you, they will come back to your shop.

2. Be patient

Selling requires you a lot of patience. Not all customers coming to your shop will buy products at the first time. Sometimes they just want to go window-shopping. Some sellers are very rude by saying to customers "If you do not have intention of buying anything, please go out, I do not have time for you." I can make sure that this is the first time and also the last time those customers come to that shop. They would rather buy products in other shops with higher price! As a good seller, you should be patient and willing answer questions of customers who do not have demand for products because one day they may come back and become your familiar customers due to your wonderful behavior.

3. Honest

Among many types of products, sometimes customers meet difficulties in choosing a good product. Therefore, they will trust honest sellers who can help them to choose a right product with a reasonable price. Nothing worse than you give customers products that are out of date, have low quality or with too high price. Being an honest seller, you will have many familiar customers who contribute much to your turnover.

4. Friendly to customers

One of necessary characteristics that make you become a good seller is being friendly with customers. Whenever a customer come to your shop, please smile at him. When he leaves your shop, please say good bye and thank him even when he does not buy your products. You will see how this characteristic is good for you and your business.

5. Have reasonable behavior to each kind of customers

Customers are different people with different characteristics, careers, income, education levels, and social statuses so you also must have different ways to treat them. Depending on their ages, gender, position, income, you can have a suitable behavior. However, not regarding who they are, you have to respect all of them. Do not base on the appearance of a person to evaluate him!
